  • How long does it take to deliver?

  • Do you offer Rent to Own options?

- Yes, you can Rent to own through Heartland

- RTO total cannot exceed $18,000

- No credit Checks

- Cannot be an occupied space for living.

- On contracts with a subtotal of $10,000 or higher, the customer must provide proof of home/land ownership.

- Building must be Certified with ground package for RTO.

  • What will I need in order to purchase a building/carport?

  • What forms of payment do you take?

- We DO accept: Money Orders, Credit Cards, Certified/Cashier’s Check

- We DON’T accept: Personal Checks, Company Checks, Cryptocurrency, or Cash

- Credit Cards have 2.5% Processing Fee

  • What do I have to pay upfront?

- Depending on the building price, the upfront amount will be 5-15% of total price.

  • How much is the security deposit/down payment?

- Security deposit amount depends on your buildings cost.

- Anywhere from 5-15% of total cost.

- Security deposit is basically just a down payment and is taken out from amount owed.

  • What is a Restocking Fee?

- A restocking fee will be charged to the customer(s) any time the building is not ready to be installed (ex: no access to their home, invalid address, install site not ready, etc.).

- The restocking fee does not apply when the fault is of Eagle Carports or the installers.

- $150.00 OR 5% of the retail price, whichever is greater.

  • Can I cancel an order?

- Yes, however your deposit will be non-refundable

  • Do you deliver?

- Yes, installation and delivery are included in total price.

- Built on site

- Surface must be level for installation.

  • How long does it take to deliver?

- 2-5 weeks

  • How far away can you deliver?

- We can deliver at any location.

  • What do I need to do for delivery?

- Call 811 prior to installation to ensure that site is free of utility lines

- Required 4ft’ space around perimeter of building for installation

- If a lift is required, 30’ft space around perimeter is needed for installation.

- Installation Site must be LEVEL

- Installation Site must be clear of overhead wires or debris.

>Specifics

  • Are any warranties included with my purchase?

- Yes, two warranties come with your purchase.

- Workmanship Warranty: Guaranteed for 90 days after purchase.

- Paneling carries a 20-year limited warranty through Becker’s covering panels which “peel, crack, blister, flake, split, or delaminate (except for such crazing or slight cracking as may occur on tightly roll formed edges, brake bends or embossing at the time of forming the pre-painted sheet and is accepted as standard and will not constitute a basis for a complaint under this limited warranty).”

- Warranty does not cover manual labor, only materials listed above.

- ANY alterations done by the customer to the purchased unit voids all warranty items listed above.

Eagle Carports Inc. is not liable for any damages as a result of inclement weather.

- Any building with a regular style roof and/or boxed eve style roof longer than 36 foot will NOT be covered under the 20 year limited warranty on rust through on paneling materials

  • What all does this company offer?

- Metal Carports, garages, barns, loafing sheds, RV covers, Single slope, and Combination Buildings.

  • Do you have other buildings besides the three standard carport styles?

- Yes

- Such as Commercial Grade Carports, RV covers, loafing sheds, barns, garages. Single slopes, and mini storage.

  • What is the difference between each style?

- Main difference is Vertical style has vertically installed panels.

- Regular and boxed style has horizontally installed panels.

  • What is the shortest Length x Width x Height that can be ordered?

- Shortest Length: 10ft

- Shortest Width: 13ft

- Shortest Height: 6ft

  • What is the longest Length x Width x Height that can be ordered?

- Longest Length: limitless

- Longest Width: 40ft

- Longest Height: 16ft

  • Does the surface have to be leveled beforehand?

- Yes

- The structure will not be installed if the surface is not ready and leveled.

- Surface cannot be unleveled more than 3 in.

  • Can I put my structure on a cement slab?

- Yes

- Option 1: With Flush Mounts installed, your concrete pad can be the

same size as your building. For example: the concrete pad

for a 20’ x 30’ building will also be 20’ x 30’.

- Option 2: Without Flush Mounts installed, your concrete pad will have

to be an additional 2” bigger. For example: the concrete pad

for a 20’ x 30’ building will be 20’4” x 30’4”.

  • How is the building anchored?

- Flush Mount Kit: The flush mount kit allows you to use a concrete pad the same size as the building itself without extending beyond 2” or more. Example: for a 20’x30’ building you would need a 20’ x 30’ concrete pad.

- Concrete Anchors: Sometimes referred to as wedge anchors, contractors drill into the concrete and insert the anchor to fasten the building very securely to the concrete pad.

- Rebar Anchors: Used in combination with every other anchor style except for concrete. Rebar anchors hold the base rail in place during construction to ensure a sturdy installation.

- Earth Auger Anchors: (Also known as Mobile Home Anchors) Used to secure the building in ground installations only. They are double helical in design.

- Asphalt Anchors: Used in asphalt installations only. They have 4 fins that when driven into the ground hold the anchor in keeping the building secure during high wind conditions.

  • What are the options for doors?

- Walk-in door: 36x80

- Garage Roll-up doors: 6x7, 8x8, 9x8, 10x8, 10x10, 12x12, 14x14

  • What are the options for windows?

- 24x36 and 30x36

  • Do you provide Engineering Drawings?

- Yes, there are three options.

- Option 1: GENERIC STRUCTURAL DESIGN DRAWINGS: Free PDF version sent by email upon request. Standard drawings used when required. Available after down payment is made.

- Option 2: GENERIC WET SEAL DRAWINGS: $250 (2 copies) by mail with additional cost. If state seal is required on every page by your local building department. Allow 1-2 weeks for completion.

- Option 3: SITE-SPECIFIC DRAWINGS: Up to 24’ Wide = $1,750 (2 copies) by mail with additional cost. 25’ to 30’ Wide = $2,500 (2 copies) by mail with additional cost. 31’ and Wider = $4,000+ (2 copies) by mail with additional cost. This will include the customer’s name, address, local wind/snow loads, and exact building dimensions with door/window placements. Allow 6-8 weeks for completion.

- NOTE: A PLACEMENT SHEET IS REQUIRED FOR SITE-SPECIFIC DRAWINGS AND MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE DEALER!

  • What is Horizontal Wainscoting?

- Our Horizontal Wainscoting adds a three-foot strip of steel at the bottom of our external walls. It can be used to create a greater sense of color and aesthetic to your buildings. Most people have the wainscoting match the color of the trim and the roof which results in a stylish contrast. Wainscoting also has the added benefit of slightly increasing durability around the building’s base.

  • What is J-trim?

- It is the metal trim that goes around building accessories (windows, doors, etc.)

  • Will I need a Lift?

- All Commercial Grade Buildings 32’-40’ require a lift for installation.

- Lifts are required for installation of some units. This is based on the width, height, and leg type. Please refer to the chart below to see if your building will require a lift rental.

- AVERAGE LIFT EQUIPMENT FEE: $1,850/WEEK
